The Marine Hotel Ballycastle is already fully booked for bedrooms over the main 4 days of the 148th Open Golf Championship event in July. Summer 2018 was the busiest summer season the hotel has experienced since it re-opened in 2013, with revenues up 12% and occupancy up 6% – year on year –  partly due to the great summer weather and also the increase in foreign tourists to the area to play golf, travel along the Causeway Coastal route and visit Game of Thrones film locations.
