Looking about everyone was having a good time, and also enjoying the food so I couldn’t wait to take a look at the new summer menu and see what I would order.
For a starter I had WHEELER’S CRISPY CALAMARI With lovely tartare sauce , fresh lemon. Tender squid crisp-fried batter + a dipping sauce calamari downright magical.
This has to be the best Calamari I have had, the Calamari was not chewy or rubbery it was 100% perfect! I am very impressed so far…
My dinning guest had POACHED PEAR, AND ALEX JAMES’ BLUE MONDAY with Endive, walnut vinaigrette, extra virginolive oil.
WOW is all I can say this was again perfect, the flavours were just amazing with every mouthful!!
For main I had CONFIT DUCK LEG À LA PARISIENNE WITH BÉARNAISE SAUCE pommes frites, salade verte with truffle dressing
I love duck confit – tender meat with crispy skin to me is perfection. This classic dish is an exquisite combination of duck and bearnaise sauce… Order it.
