Lidl’s Ski Collection Hits Stores in Northern Ireland from November 8th

Lidl has revealed its 2018 winter and ski-wear collection will go on sale across all 38 stores in Northern Ireland from Thursday November 8th – and with news just in that Belfast is to have its very own outdoor ski slope this winter, the timing couldn’t be better.

The range, which is functional, fashionable and a fraction of the price of the big brands will be available in Lidl stores across Northern Ireland for a limited period while stocks last.

The 2018 collection features 58 winter and ski-wear items offering customers in Northern Ireland an unparalleled selection of garments and gear at prices so low that adult skiers can pick up the essentials for under £60, while kids can get suited and snow-booted for less than £35.*

Must-haves for men and women include Lidl ski jackets which are waterproof, windproof and come in at only £24.99.  Matching ski trousers, with padding for extra comfort, cost just £16.99. 

Layers are vital in sub-zero temperatures and Lidl’s range of ski performance tops, priced at £6.99, are designed to keep body heat in.  Lidl’s £7.99 ski fleece jacket provides additional warmth by protecting the body from cold airflow without constricting movement. Heads and hands are kept warm with knitted hats at £4.99 and ski gloves at £6.99.

At £17.99, Lidl’s ski helmet is lightweight but sturdy and a must for on-slope safety, while the £6.99 ski and snowboard goggles ensure visibility even in adverse weather conditions.  The goggles are not only 100% UV protected but also come with an anti-fog inner lens and double-layered contrast-enhancing outer lens.

Junior skiers also get a great deal with Lidl’s extended range, including trendy jackets, trousers, boots and accessories which come in a variety of styles suitable for six to 14-year-olds.  Pieces include wind and waterproof ski jackets at £12.99, ski trousers at £9.99 and fleece jackets at £3.99.
