Leper and Chip review : high-octane story of young love and loss in Dublin


LEPER & CHIP is a new play by Lee Coffey, first staged in Dublin in April 2014, directed by Karl Shiels and performed by Conall Keating and Amilia Stewart.

Leper and Chip is a high-octane story of young love and loss in Dublin. An intertwining of stories that meet with a kiss. The story is told at 100mph but it’s easy enough to keep up with them.  I could easily have watched another hour. Conall Keating and Amilia Stewart command the stage and bring their Leper and Chip characters to life on stage. A tragic story, Romeo and Juliet “Dublin Style”.  You will both laugh and cry.
