Leper and Chip review : high-octane story of young love and loss in Dublin

LEPER & CHIP is a new play by Lee Coffey, first staged in Dublin in April 2014, directed by Karl Shiels and performed by Conall Keating and Amilia Stewart.

Leper and Chip is a high-octane story of young love and loss in Dublin. An intertwining of stories that meet with a kiss. The story is told at 100mph but it’s easy enough to keep up with them.  I could easily have watched another hour. Conall Keating and Amilia Stewart command the stage and bring their Leper and Chip characters to life on stage. A tragic story, Romeo and Juliet “Dublin Style”.  You will both laugh and cry.

Leper & Chip runs in the Naughton Studio from 27 – 29 October. All tickets £10. Please note this play contains strong language and scenes of a sexual nature. For more information on the Lyric’s season or to book, go to www.lyrictheatre.co.uk or contact the Box Office on (028) 9038 1081.
