Belfast City Council will be hosting the city’s annual Halloween Monster Mash on the slipways of Titanic Belfast.
Beginning at 4pm, the entertainment line-up will feature:
- an array of street theatre and walkabouts
- breathtaking fire shows and jugglers
- face painting
- wicked workshops
- fairground rides
- on stage live music
- a range of hot food, drinks, sweets and Halloween fancy goods available for purchase
This year’s theme is ‘Carnival Rock’ and monsters and ghouls of all ages can come along in their show-stopping scary rock outfits or traditional spooky Halloween ones.
Alongside media partner, Q Belfast’s City Beat, the Q street team will be amongst the crowd to select the best fancy dress outfits on the night and there are some fangtastic prizes up for grabs.
The evening will draw to a close with the largest fireworks display in the city, set to a classic rock soundtrack. Fireworks will begin at approximately 6.45pm lasting for 15 minutes.
Travelling to and from the event
Belfast City Council have organised free ‘ghost shuttle buses’ to whisk ghouls and goblins to and from the event.
Buses depart from Chichester Street (outside SS Moore’s) every 15 minutes from 3.45pm – 6.15pm and will drop off on Queen’s Road.
Last shuttle bus will leave Queen’s Road at Titanic Belfast at approximately 7.30pm.
The city centre drop off location is beside the City Hall at Donegall Square West.
