Last night, Northern Ireland put up a strong fight but were held to a 0-0 draw against Belarus in the UEFA Nations League. Despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances, Michael O’Neill’s side couldn’t break the deadlock at the ZTE Arena.
Conor Bradley, captaining the side for the first time, had a goal disallowed, and Jamie Reid, Paddy McNair, and others all came close, but the Belarusian goalkeeper had an outstanding night. Notably, Pierce Charles made his senior debut in goal and delivered a solid performance.
Next up, we return to Windsor Park on Tuesday for a crucial clash against Bulgaria. Time to regroup and aim for victory! 💪
