Undefeated European, Commonwealth and IBF Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight Champion Carl Frampton is fast becoming one of Northern Ireland’s best loved sporting stars. “The Jackal” has already established himself as a genuine World level fighter with his destruction of Kiko Martinez in February and now aims to secure an IBF World title shot by seeing off France’s Jeremy Parodi on October 19th. The impressive Odyssey Arena in Belfast hosts this IBF World Title Eliminator between #3 ranked Frampton and #4 ranked Parodi. Tiger’s Bay man Carl will be getting married to his fiance Christine Dorrian the weekend following the fight and he is determined to be in prime position for a crack at the World Title by the time he is walking down the aisle.

“I am delighted the Parodi fight has been made. He’s the highest ranked fighter available with the IBF and I want to win that IBF belt as soon as possible. Once I beat him I’ll be in pole position for the title. I can’t wait to walk out at the Odyssey Arena once more, the atmosphere will be incredible and I’m ready to show my home fans the improvements I’ve made this year, ” said Frampton.

Current IBF International Super Bantamweight Champion Jeremy Parodiis one of France’s top Boxing prospects. Hailing from Toulon in Southern France, Jeremy has had an eventful career that has seen him collect the French National and European Union titles as well as capturing the IBF International title and securing an impressive #4 ranking in the IBF World Ratings.
