Festive Fundraising at First Trust Bank Christmas Market

First Trust Bank Christmas Market

Over 100 guests from local businesses attended First Trust Bank’s Festive Christmas Market in Belfast in support of the Northern Ireland Hospice.

As well as running a charity raffle in aid of the charity, First Trust Bank invited customers from across Northern Ireland to set up stall in their Head Office for the special Christmas marketplace, celebrating the best of local businesses.

Staff and invited guests could purchase goods from a range of companies including Bogart Menswear, Bangor womenswear outlet Pia Rossini, as well as bakery and craft businesses including Newry’s Corn Dolly, Wonderscents from Lisburn and Mary Dolls from Ballymena.

Speaking about the fayre, Brian Gillan, Head of Business and Corporate Banking at First Trust Bank said;

“Our Christmas marketplace was a real showcase of the innovation, entrepreneurship and craftmanship alive and well in Northern Ireland. A huge hit with staff and guests, a number of stalls had sold out by early afternoon as everyone tried to get Christmas-ready!  We were delighted to raise support for the Northern Ireland Hospice, and with songs from the Belfast School of Music, festive finger food and mulled wine, I think First Trust Bank managed to rival the continental market for Christmas cheer!”

As well as raising £350.00 through the charity raffle, NI Hospice were on hand to advise visitors on their range of support services.
