As the festive season twinkles closer, there’s nothing more delightful than crafting homemade treats and keeping warm with family. This year, Calor Ireland and Steph Duke from My Little Duke bring you a charming and delicious Christmas project – creating adorable Chocolate Christmas Angels!
The Magic of Making Christmas Angels
Steph Duke, known for her love of simple yet delightful crafts, shares her passion for making these cute little angels during the Christmas season. They are not just fun to make but incredibly easy too, especially with the convenience of a gas hob for that perfect chocolate melt.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Marshmallows
- Maltesers
- Milkybar buttons
- Giant white chocolate buttons
Let’s Get Crafting:
- Prepare the Angel Wings: Start by halving the giant white chocolate buttons to create angel wings.
- Melt the Chocolate: Use some white chocolate buttons to make the ‘glue’. Steph prefers using a gas hob for melting chocolate over a microwave, ensuring less chance of burning and providing instant, precise heat control.
- Assemble Your Angel: With the melted chocolate as your glue, it’s time to assemble your angel. Use a Malteser for the head, a Milkybar button for the halo, and the giant buttons for wings!
Steph finds great reassurance in cooking with cylinder gas during winter. Its reliability (no worries about power outages!) and instant heat make it a perfect companion for those quick, family-pleasing treats.
