Santa and the Great Christmas Upgrade
Brand-new for Christmas 2023, Santa and the Great Christmas Upgrade is a magical theatre show for all the family. W5’s lecture theatre has been transformed into the North Pole’s Research and Development Lab where robot elves are hard at work making toys for all the children, as well as researching ways to make present delivery this Christmas Eve more efficient. However, our young droid Bud-E may put Christmas at risk with his boundless enthusiasm. Can Santa save the day?
Find out in this high-adventure production featuring big screen animation, robot elves and a spinking of Christmas magic. If Santa can save the day, there is also a gift for all children in the audience.
Santa and the Great Christmas Upgrade is an add-on experience. Tickets to this show can be purchased when booking general admission to W5.
Ghosts of Winterly Manor
Are you ready for a Christmas experience that goes beyond the ordinary? For centuries, there has been a tradition of wiling away the long Christmas nights by huddling around the hearth and telling ghost stories. Following in the spirit of this tradition, W5 has transformed their immersive AMAZE space into the Ghosts of Winterly Manor.
This winter, some of the manor’s long departed residences are returning one final time and W5 is inviting YOU to meet them. Venture through the creaking halls and meet some of the peculiar personalities that once lived within these walls.

Let the fun begin and the snowballs fly this December! It may look like real snow but there is no chance of getting frozen fingers. Our warm, dry and soft snow means you can leave the gloves at home.

Help to spread the Christmas cheer at W5’s North Pole Post Office. For many of us, the festive season is a time to gather and catch up with loved ones. For some, the holidays can be a difficult and lonely time. At the North Pole Post Office, you can create a Christmas card for someone who might otherwise be alone this festive period.

Christmas Climbit
The atrium at the heart of W5 is brimming with light, sound and cheer this season. Here, Climbit – W5’s largest exhibit, shines as bright as a star. After conquering the heights of this multi-storey climbing frame, tuck into seasonal treats at the Jingle all the Way café found at the foot of Climbit.
