As you may have already heard (by the cries of Directioners all over the world), Zayn Malik has decided to leave One Direction. In a statement, the beloved 1D member decided to part ways with the guys because he wants “to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.”

Well, as you can imagine the Directioners were completely heartbroken. Like totally devastated when they found out the terrible news — and of course, it was during school hours. Before we knew it #AlwaysInOurHeartsZaynMalik was trending on Twitter and the One Direction fans were posting their emotional reactions to the social media site and Vine. And yes, most of them were in the form of tears.
