Dale Farm Protein Milk has launched ‘Stay Strong Together’ – an online initiative to encourage and inspire people to keep their minds and bodies active from the comfort of their own homes.
Dairy company Dale Farm has collaborated with three leading health and fitness experts to help people stay physically and mentally active whilst staying home.
Using its Dale Farm Protein Milk social media channels as a hub of information and encouragement for everyone staying home, the Stay Strong Together campaign will feature daily home workouts, nutritional advice, balanced recipes and tips on mindfulness.
The team of Stay Strong Together ambassadors include Ian Young, former Professional Footballer and Kickboxing Champion and founder of IFIT NI; mental health advocate Annette Kelly (Little Penny Thoughts) and Catherine Downey, The Sporty Dietician.
Speaking about the initiative, Aisling Bremner, Dale Farm said:
“The times we are all facing understandably bring with them a lot of anxiety and a change in our everyday routines. People search for reassurance and ways of adapting, so Dale Farm Protein Milk’s Stay Strong Together campaign will seek to create a sense of community and belonging online for those feeling isolated and worried.
“Last week saw the shut-down of gyms and non-essential businesses following the introduction of social distancing rules, and while we need to be at home right now, there are steps we can all take to stay healthy both physically and mentally over the coming weeks.
“Our goal is to bring the gym into Northern Ireland homes and create easily accessible exercise options and plenty of motivation. But we also want to stay mentally active and practice self-care.
“From Hiit training to healthy recipes and mindful activities, information and live classes are available on our social channels for free, from a fantastic group of industry experts, with whom we are proud to work. We hope it will be a highlight in many people’s days as they take some time to focus on themselves and their families’ wellbeing.”
