Announcing a new annual sponsorship at Belfast’s SSE Arena are Steve Thornton, Head of Hockey Operations with Belfast Giants; David Beck, Managing Director of Cyril Johnston and Belfast Giants forward Brandon Benedict.

The new partnership will see Cyril Johnston sponsor all Belfast Giants digital activity within the Arena, including the Belfast Giants app environment and Giants TV.  As part of the new sponsorship agreement Cyril Johnston branding will feature on the player’s jerseys, advertising boards and on the ice, and Cyril Johnston content will run across the SSE Arena’s newly installed IPTV-enabled Digital Screens.

Nigel Robbins, Commercial Director at the Odyssey Trust said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Cyril Johnston to the Belfast Giants portfolio at a time when both the Giants and Cyril Johnston are going from strength to strength under new leadership. Steve Thornton and his team have got the new Giants season off to a terrific start, both on and off the ice, and Cyril Johnston are proving to be perfect digital sponsorship partners at a time when their new e-commerce site has been unveiled.”

David Beck, Managing Director at Cyril Johnston said: “Teaming up with The Belfast Giants as Digital Sponsor gives us the opportunity to showcase our great outdoor products to a broad audience via many channels; we can entertain and enthral our network of suppliers and clients at the SSE Arena; and we’re proud to be associated with a team that brings so much joy and entertainment to families and fans across Northern Ireland.”
