Blood donation session
Date: 20 Jan 2015
Time: 9.30am to 7pm
Venue: Great Hall, Belfast City Hall
The Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service are hosting a full day long blood donation session in City Hall.
Come along and help us boost blood donations in Belfast, to help those who need your blood to stay alive.
Most people between 17 and 65 should be able to give blood but only 6% of us actually do.

Giving blood is easy, it doesn’t hurt and it’s perfectly safe. Donated blood is usually used within three to four days – that’s how soon you could be helping to save lives, whether it’s a child with leukaemia, a mother during childbirth, or someone undergoing surgery or treatment for cancer.
It usually takes around 45 minutes to give blood and that includes the registration, donation, rest and refreshment. If it is your first time donating you can register as a donor or get more information by texting the word ‘blood’ to60081, calling 0500 534 666

If you can’t come along to Belfast City Hall, follow @GiveBloodNI on twitter to find out all the upcoming donation sessions.
