Canteen has moved Eastside!

It is an exciting time for the Canteen team as we have opened our doors at 10 Belmont Road, Belfast. We have familiar friendly faces from our days at St. Anne’s Square and our Consultant Chef Joery Castel from The Boat House Restaurant in Bangor, has firmly put his stamp on our new menus. They say a change is as good as a rest and Joery certainly has embraced the neighbourhood kitchen café ethos with some warming and moreish dishes using the best of locally produced ingredients.

We are having an official launch weekend to celebrate the opening of our new kitchen café at 10 Belmont Road, with some Canteen event favourites…Book early to avoid disappointment.

Coffee Masterclass
Thursday 29th October
5.30pm and 7pm, £10pp

What can you expect?

Terry our in-house coffee expert, will take you through how to make the perfect espresso and how to achieve the finest textured milk for your favourite speciality coffee, whether it be cappuccino, latte or flat white – or how about a macchiato? We will compare and contrast alternatives to cow’s milk, with soya milk, goats milk and almond milk. You will also get the chance to test your artistic flair with some latte art.

Places are limited to 8 people per class, so book now to guarantee your place.

Heavenly Supper
Friday 30th October
7pm, £25pp

Choose your Food Heaven dish from our Heavenly Supper menu with suggestions from Chef Joery. You will be greeted with a Mocktail on arrival, followed by a 3 course menu of Heavenly delights all for only £25…which will you choose?

Jazz Sessions
Saturday 31st October
3.30pm – 5.30pm Book a table for Lunch
7pm – 9pm, 2 Course Supper and a Prohibition drink, £20pp

Live entertainment with Jonny Mac.

JONNY MAC draws you into the story of each song and draws inspiration from the sounds of great performers such as Tony Bennett, Kurt Elling and Mark Murphy. A singer with a wealth of diverse experience from rock and blues to pop and classical.

Canteen Christmas
