WITH Rége-Jean Page recently spotted filming in Belfast, the Culloden Estate and Spa and Slieve Donard Resort & Spa have launched a delectable afternoon tea experience which would no doubt gain the approval of the Duke of Hastings and Lady Whistledown.
Guests are cordially invited to experience the splendour of high society with a scandalously decadent Bridgerton Inspired Afternoon Tea (priced from £35pp) featuring a host of delightful treats in a stunning setting.
Stimulate your taste buds starting with Lady Whistledown’s Starter, followed by Queen Charlotte’s Delectable Sandwiches, Lady Bridgerton’s Finest Scones and Lady Danbury’s Desserts and Dainty Cakes. This fabulous experience is complimented with your choice of tea or coffee or enhance your experience with Lady Whistledown’s Gossipy Gimlet cocktail or a glass or two of the finest champagne.
Lisa Steele, General Manager of the Culloden Estate & Spa said: “The Bridgerton Inspired Afternoon Tea, is an experience like no other and gives guests the chance to indulge and live the high life, just like they did in the 1800’s.
No detail has been overlooked when creating this unique afternoon tea, from the finest period linen we use to dress the table to the fine bone china we have specifically sourced. In keeping with the Regency era, each stage of the afternoon tea will be served separately which really adds to the experience.”
Guests have the choice of tea from an exquisite selection served from the traditional tea trolley as they enjoy an afternoon with a difference with friends and family. As Queen Charlotte would say, the Bridgerton Inspired Afternoon Tea is “Flawless, my dear.
The Bridgerton Inspired Afternoon Tea is served in Vespers Restaurant overlooking the beautiful gardens of the Culloden Estate and in the Oak Restaurant in the Slieve Donard Resort with stunning views of the Mourne Mountains accompanied by Bridgerton themed music.
