The groom has gone missing and so has your meal. Join gourmet chef Paula McIntyre (MBE) as she tries to save the day.
Big Telly are delighted to announce their new LIVE digital project ‘RECIPE FOR DISASTER’ – A piece of cookalong theatre’.
The exact opposite of a quiet night in, you are cordially invited to A Recipe for Disaster. An extraordinary DIY wedding with a top class chef, an 80s obsessed bride, a nervy groom and a best man under pressure. Part show, part cookery class, once the meals are served and the speeches are said everyone can chill out on the dance floor, eighties style. This might be the worst wedding in the world, but the best night in. Theatre, you can eat!
Big Telly’s Artistic Director Zoe Seaton says” we’ve wanted to do this for ages, to try and recreate one of those brilliant nights which starts with everyone cooking together, having a laugh and ends with the chairs pulled back and everyone giving it dixie to Come On Eileen. That’s essentially what we’re after.’
Paula McIntyre says “Delighted to be involved in the Recipe for Disaster with Big Telly. Looking forward to a great night’s craic and seeing everyone’s dishes!”
