Juice Radio in Belfast have reached out to the leader of the free world, U.S. President Joe Biden, with a proposal to make an even greater lasting impression on the people of the city after his whistlestop visit on Wednesday.
Shane Pearce, Founder and Managing Director of Juice Radio and Pearce Media Group, reached out to White House representatives on social media on Wednesday night with the offer which has yet to be accepted.
A station spokesperson said: “We have an opportunity for someone to take on the 10pm to Midnight spot on Juice Radio in Belfast, and we think that White House with DJ Joey B would be an amazing addition to the schedule. A “House” party broadcast weekly from the Oval Office.
It would enable the president to reach a younger fan base, and offer him an outlet to share his views on issues important to the youth community of the city including his favourite Boojum combination, the best place in town for a pint of Guinness… We reckon he could take Nolan’s crown for the Biggest Show in the Country within weeks”
The Whitehouse has yet to respond to our offer, but they know it makes sense.
Juice Radio is a station for all ages, based in Belfast City Centre and aims to unite communities through music and fun. Juice Radio has this week been granted a five year license extension to serve greater Belfast with the current license due to expire in July 2028.
Juice is available on the Juice Radio app, JuiceOnAir.com, and on 103.8FM across Belfast.
