Arthur Street in Belfast is set to become an outdoor catwalk this Thursday as over 50 shops from across the city take part in the Street Style pop up fashion event by Belfast One in association with Belfast Fashion Week.
The event, which will take place on 13 September in Arthur Street, will see beauty demos from a mixture of makeup counters and stores including Debenhams, Inglot and Body Shop as well as fashion on a diverse range of models in the street catwalk from 5-7pm.
Clare Maguire from Belfast One said: “Belfast has the best retail offering in Northern Ireland, with lots of brands and independent stores that you can’t get anywhere else in the country and we’re delighted to team up with Belfast Fashion Week to showcase the range that’s on offer. Retail is a massive employer in Belfast and forms a key part of our city landscape. The Bank Buildings fire has had a huge impact on the city and retail employees, so there is a need to support our city centre; and I would urge people to enjoy the city and shop local if they are making shopping purchases in the coming weeks and months. We are most definitely open for business.”
