This Sunday 19th June the newly opened Beef and Bird, located at the Lisburn Leisure Park, will be hosting its first action packed Family Fun Day.
Open to all the family, children will have the opportunity to meet some of their beloved characters in a meet-and-greet with the amazing Spiderman, Gotham’s Caped Crusader, Batman, and the all-singing Elsa and Anna from Disney’s smash hit Frozen.
With face-painters ready to transform the little ones into heroes and fun animals with wacky paints, and glitter tattoos at the ready to have them sparkling like little stars, there’s something for everyone during this fun-filled afternoon.
On Sunday the winners of the Beef and Bird colouring competition will be announced. Opened recently to children aged 11 and under in the Lisburn area, Beef and Bird enlisted the help of Lisburn’s budding young artists to help design novel artwork for its new signature cow and chicken life-size sculptures. The sculptures, which are currently blank canvases, will take up pride of place in the restaurant’s front window where they will remain on display for the lifetime of the restaurant for all to marvel at.
Two winning designs, submitted by children in the local community, will be professionally transferred on to the Beef and Bird sculptures with a number of runner-up prizes. But, for those who missed out on entering the competition, there will be a free Beef and Bird goodie bag for all children who attend the Family Fun Day this Sunday (12noon – 5.00pm).
So make sure to free up some space in the diary this weekend because Sunday at Beef and Bird will be anything but lazy!
