Asda Shore Road Section Manager Darren Quinn has been commended after he went the extra mile for a customer whose car had a flat tyre.
The lady was leaving the store with her three young children late one evening when she discovered she had a flat tyre. Darren, who had finished his shift, swooped into action to get the customer’s car back on the road and save the family from having to wait several hours for roadside assistance.
Asda Shore Road Section Manager Darren said:
“I was about to head home when I heard that the customer was stranded with a flat tyre. I have a trolley jack in the car so knew that I would be able to help.”
“Being a father myself, I would never see anyone stuck, particularly with children in the car. I was happy to help. She was delighted to get going and get her children home safely.”
Lindsay Kelly, Customer Section Manager, said:
“I always get positive feedback from our customers about Darren. He is always ready to help anyone out and I was not surprised to hear that he came to the rescue as that is just Darren. He always goes above and beyond for our customers and colleagues.”
