Falcon Holidays survey reveals 4 times more people in Northern Ireland look forward to their summer holiday abroad than Christmas

As excitement builds for Christmas day, a festive poll* from leading tour operator Falcon Holidays reveals that summer holidays abroad are more hotly anticipated than Christmas at home with friends and family. A staggering eight in 10 people across Northern Ireland get more excited about the prospect of sun, sea and sand than they do about snow, Santa and turkey with all the trimmings.

In fact thousands of people plan and book their holiday in the sun over the festive season and into the New Year. Researching sunnier climates, destinations and hotels helps to ease the post-Christmas and January blues not to mention the excitement of booking a summer holiday and having something to look forward to.
