After the End is a thrilling 90 minute play that follows the interaction between a man and a woman who are trapped in a bunker for two weeks. It touches on themes of power, fear, morality, violence, politics and the human capacity for change. A powerful and relevant piece that simply demands to be seen!
Running from the 1st – 3rd February, the Vile Bodies production is a captivating two-hander, which has been brought up to date, tapping into the psyche of modern audiences.
The playwright, Dennis Kelly, is best known for writing the book for the Olivier and Tony winning Matilda the Musical, and is one of the UK’s most prevalent living writers for stage and screen.
This latest adaptation of the play will be directed by young Belfast director Emily Foran, who is the youngest graduate of The Lir Academy’s MFA in directing, and studied drama at Queens University Belfast.
