Autism NI are very excited to announce that Adam Keefe, Captain of the Belfast Giants is our new Patron!
Adam Keefe is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
Adam has become one of the most popular players for the Belfast Giants history in only two seasons and he was selected by the Giants season ticket holders as their ‘Fan Favourite’ and was chosen by his teammates as the ‘Player’s Player of the Year’.
Kerry Boyd, Director of Development of Autism NI is delighted with Adams recent appointment as Patron, she states, “Adam is heavily involved with different Charities and has extended his help and support to many families in the community; therefore we feel he is a great asset in raising awareness for Autism throughout Northern Ireland. I know some of our families are already fans of the Belfast Giants which makes his support event more exciting.”
Adam said in a statement, “I am delighted to be part of such a worthwhile Charity and an organisation that helps many families affected by Autism in many different areas. Autism NI carry out such fantastic work throughout Northern Ireland and I hope to help them continue their good work for the future and raise much needed awareness to the general public.”
