The Merchant Hotel, Belfast is selling the ultimate Valentine’s gift, with a one-of-a-kind, money can buy, luxury package available for a price tag of just under £1,000.

The Fab Four might have said Money Can’t Buy You Love, but at this five-star Belfast hotel, one suitor can buy a whole lot of romance for the princely sum of £995.

The Merchant’s one-off Valentine’s package begins with a chauffeur driven journey in their Rolls-Royce Phantom to the hotel, where a champagne reception will await. The couple will then be shown to their luxury suite, where they will don fluffy robes ahead of an indulgent full body massage in The Merchant’s Spa. Following the spa treatment, the couple will be escorted to the hotel’s private wine cellar for a tasting, where they will select their wines for the evening. After this, they will make their way up to the hotel’s new Pop-Up Rooftop Alpine Ski Lodge, which will be exclusively theirs, with dedicated waiting staff for the evening. Here they will enjoy a bottle of champagne and canapés before a gastronomic seven course tasting menu is served overlooking the city skyline. The next morning, breakfast will be served in bed, and prior to departure in the Rolls-Royce, an opulent afternoon tea will be served in The Great Room Restaurant.
