The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) are delighted to announce that Danske Bank are continuing their support of the Royal Ulster Winter Fair, and have signed a three year deal. This will allow the event to grow in its new location and continue to provide an informative meeting place annually for the dairy industry.
John Henning, Head of Agricultural Relations at Danske Bank said “The Royal Ulster Winter Fair is an important event in the Northern Ireland agricultural calendar and is particularly focused on the dairy sector. For the past thirty years the event has brought industry and farmers together in a business environment with the added spectacle of the best dairy cattle. Danske Bank is proud to have supported the Winter Fair since the outset and this announcement of continued support for the next three years confirms our ongoing commitment to the dairy sector and indeed the wider agri-food industry.”
Rhonda Geary, RUAS Operations Director commented “The continued generous financial support of Danske Bank has played a large role in making the Winter Fair the very successful event it is today. We are proud of the long standing partnership between ourselves and Danske Bank as it highlights our own, and the bank’s, support of the Dairy Industry. It is great to have confirmation that they are on board for the next three years, and we can focus on continually improving the offering at the Winter Fair, so the event remains interesting and informative for the industry.”
The 2016 Royal Ulster Winter Fair will take place at Eikon Exhibition Centre, Balmoral Park on Thursday 8th December from 9am to 5pm. To keep up to date with 2016 Winter Fair news check out our website www.winterfair.org.uk, Facebook: Winter Fair or Twitter @ruaswinterfair
