UTV is at the heart of the action with a series of special programmes tackling the very best the Rugby World Cup has to offer in Japan.
The whole tournament is live and exclusive on UTV, as Japan hosts this major sporting event.
UTV sports correspondent Ruth Gorman will be in Japan throughout the World Cup offering first rate coverage, interviews with the Ireland stars and the biggest names in the game. She’ll also report on life in Japan, taking viewers outside the rugby and reflecting the rich and diverse culture and colour of this fascinating country.
IN addition to the match coverage, UTV will have special previews before all of Ireland’s matches. Back in the studio, presenter Munier Abdalla will be joined by former Ireland stars Paddy Wallace and Chris Henry who’ll give their expert analysis of Ireland’s prospects and the games ahead.
As part of the ITV family, UTV will also have access to a galaxy of star names including Brian O’Driscoll, Paul, O’Connell and Ian McGeechan to name just a few, who will be following all the matches with the ITV commentary team.
