Active since 1995, Nickelback is one of the most iconic Canadian bands of all times. Throughout their amazing career, they have sold over 50 million albums on the entire planet. Famous for hits like “How You Remind Me”, “Someday”, “Photograph”, “Far Away” or “Rockstar”, the band can be classified as post-grunge, hard rock, pop rock and alternative metal. Its current lineup includes lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger and drummer Daniel Adair. As a fun fact, the original name of Nickelback was “Village Idiots” and they served as a cover band. At that time, Brandon Kroeger was a bassist.

Status Quo


Status Quo is an iconic British rock band established in London in 1962 by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster, who were school students at that time. The original name of the band was The Spectres. Following several modifications, the name was changed to The Status Quo in 1967. Two years later, the band became Status Quo, a name that would make them legendary. Their main distinguishing feature is their own label of boogie rock, but the band has also created remarkable hard rock and psychedelic rock songs. The current line-up of Status Quo includes Francis Rossi, Andy Brown, John “Rhino” Edwards and Leon Cave.

James Blake

Jame Blake

James Blake Litherland, or simply James Blake, is a widely acclaimed musician born in 1988, in Enfield, London. Son of a rock singer and guitarist James Litherland, Blake displayed a great musical talent even as a child. Ever since he began his career in 2009, Blake has proven that he can put on fantastic live performances. The performer gained the audience’s attention in 2010, when he released three dubstep-influenced EPs. So far, he has been involved in electronic, post-dubstep, R&B, soul and experimental music. In 2014, Blake received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Tom Odell


Born in Chichester, West Sussex, Thomas Peter Odell is a popular British singer and songwriter. His music career started with “Songs from Another Love”, an extended play released in 2012, which featured four tracks (“Another Love”, “Sense”, “Can’t Pretend” and “Stay Tonight”). This release brought him the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award at the beginning of next year. 2013 is also the year in which he launched his first studio album, “Long Way Down”. In June this year, Tom Odell’s second album, “Wrong Crow” was made available to his many fans. Apart from singing, the artist can also play the piano, keyboard and organ.

Born in 1938, Kenny Ray Rogers, commonly known as simply Kenny Rogers, is one of the most beloved country singers of all times. Rogers occupies a well-deserved spot in the Country Music Hall of Fame. While he is most famous for his amazing country hits, Kenny Rogers has also released pop, adult contemporary, soft rock, rock and jazz songs. Throughout his magnificent music career of nearly six decades, the artist has achieved the spectacular performance of charting over 120 hits and selling more than 120 million records both in the United States and around the globe.

Sir Roderick David “Rod” Stewart, nicknamed “Rod the Mod”, is an iconic rock star that has delighted audiences from all over the world with his awe-inspiring performances since 1961. In recognition of his fantastic contributions to the culture of Great Britain, as well as his many charitable services, he was made a knight in this year’s Birthday Honours. Apart from his single career, Rod Stewart has also been a member of The Jeff Beck Group and Faces.

Biffy Clyro


Established in 1995, Biffy Clyro is a Scottish rock band famous for hits like “Many of Horror (When We Collide)”, “Black Chandelier” or “Biblical”. At first, the band was associated with math rock and post-hardcore. Later on, they shifted to alternative rock, experimental rock and new prog. The line-up of Biffy Clyro includes lead vocalist and guitarist Simon Neil, bassist and vocalist James Johnston and drummer and vocalist Ben Johnston. In 2011, they received a Brit Awards nomination for the Best British Group section. Two years later, Biffy Clyro won the Best British Band award at the NME Awards.

Elton John


Sir Elton John is a name that doesn’t really need any presentation. Born in 1947 in Pinner, Middlesex, England, the artist will always be remembered as one of the best voices in the history of music. The singer and composer first emerged on the music scene in 1963. Since then, he has released over fifty Top 40 hits, seven US number one albums in a row as well as nine number one hits. Some of his most famous songs include “Candle in the Wind 1997”, “Tiny Dancer”, “Rocket Man”, “Sacrifice”, and, of course, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”.

Ocean Colour Scene


Active since 1989, Ocean Colour Scene is a popular British rock band that can be classified as alternative rock, Britpop, indie rock and blues rock. The origins of the band can be traced back to 2 different Birmingham groups, The Boys and Fanatics, which eventually broke up. Nowadays, Ocean Colour Scene consists of four members: Simon Fowler, Steve Cradock, Oscar Harrison and Raymond Meade. Their most popular album, “Marchin’ Already”, made it to the first position in the UK Album Chart and four of their other albums reached Top 10. Much of their global fame came after they accompanied Oasis on their 1995 tour.

Born in 1984, Passenger is a British folk rock, indie folk and country singer that became famous all over the world after releasing his single “Let Her Go”. The artist’s real name is Michael David Rosenberg. His stage name, Passenger, is the same as that of the band he used to lead, which was established in 2003 and disbanded in 2009.  Due to the immense commercial success of “Let Her Go”, Passenger received a nomination for the Brit Award for British Single of the Year in 2014. Other successful hits of the singer are “The Wrong Direction” and “Heart’s On Fire”.
