This week is a big week for international football with two rounds of 2014 World Cup qualifiers to look forward too.

Northern Ireland are at home for both ties starting with group leaders Russia tonight. Fabio Capello’s side have made a great start to the competition, winning four matches on the trot without conceding a goal, but Northern Ireland have been known to upset the odds while possessing home advantage and the GAWA will be hoping that Russia can be another superpower to add that that list.

Giovanni Trapattoni’s Republic side also face a difficult match against Sweden. The Italian will be under pressure and is likely to face calls for his head once again, particularly if they were to suffer an embarrassment like the 6-1 stuffing against Germany. With a game against Austria coming up on Tuesday, four points out of six is the minimum the Irish must take to maintain a realistic chance of playing in Brazil next year.

Take advantage of meal deals during either of these games. You can grab a free pint with every main course or 2 free pints with a 12” pizza. We also have Kopparberg ciders for just £3 and cocktails for £3.50. Plenty to enjoy!
