Months after the finale of the Britain’s Got Talent 2014, Cowell has finally given in and signed the lads up, but, there’s been some MAJOR changes, which has seen one of the band members dumped from the group and replaced by Northern Ireland’s Martin John McCafferty.
Massive congratulations to Martin John McCafferty and the rest of the guys in Jack Pack who have just been signed by Simon Cowell’s record company Syco to a 5 album deal.
During the Britain’s Got Talent show, Jack Pack managed to get through to the final stages, but failed to make the top three as they were pushed to the side as Collabro stormed to take the crown, who are also signed to Cowell’s record label.
Plymouth’s Student Union president Dan Whitby said: “We all knew Martin John was really talented but he was also an active member of the student community.
“He sang at various events and played rugby for the university, which shows you that he really embraced the student lifestyle.
“He was also a judge at the university’s Got Talent competition – which is quite funny when you think about it.”
