What’s got 16 legs and funks harder than the lovechild of James Brown and Donna Summer? The Belfast Groove Line, of course!
The brainchild of Phil Duffy and CHIC drummer Ralph Rolle, The Groove Line were set up with one mission in mind – to get the people of Belfast and beyond on the dance floor.
These are all good times, with the Groove Line. All live, no backing tracks and an encyclopaedic knowledge of all the best floor fillers of the past 40 years.
From the auspicious beginnings in McHughs’ Basement, playing to a packed room for a Nile Rogers aftershow (with Ralph himself in the stool) to a run of sold out sets in the Empire Music Hall, the Groove Line have amassed a formidable live reputation and are ready to go on the road once again.
The iconic Pavilion Bar will see an intimate comeback gig, with all the tunes you want to hear from the glory days of Disco on Saturday 21st May. : CLICK HERE
We encourage all our guests to get into the Groove and we want everyone dressed in their 70s finery – one lucky winner with the best fancy dress will win a golden ticket that gives you free Groove Line Guest List for life!
