Staff at Estate Agency Templeton Robinson helped families affected by cancer this Christmas by donning their Christmas jumpers as part of Cancer Fund for Children’s ‘All Wrapped Up’ Christmas jumper day campaign.
For every festive jumper worn on Friday 18th December, the staff at the agency, which has branches in Belfast, Lisburn, Ballyhackamore, Bangor and Holywood, made a donation for taking part in the fun which raised a fantastic total of £137.03.
In addition to joining in the Christmas jumper fun, Templeton Robinson also made a very generous further donation of £700 in lieu of sending Christmas cards to customers and clients, which brings their total for the festive season to an outstanding £837.03.
Since first taking part in All Wrapped Up in 2013, Templeton Robinson has raised over £3,000 from their Christmas activities in support of local children and young people coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis, in addition to over £16,000 from our Charity Partnership with them from 2014-2015.
Alex Murdock, Corporate Fundraiser at Cancer Fund for Children, said, “We were thrilled to have the team from Templeton Robinson join us again in getting All Wrapped Up in support of the vital services we provide to local families. This year has been tough, as it has for us all. Our team of Cancer Support Specialists have been working hard to adapt our services so we can continue to accept referrals and be here for young people and their families when we are needed now more than ever. With the help of local businesses and the teams at Templeton Robinson we can continue to deliver our services, and we cannot thank them enough for their continued support which will help us ensure that no family has to face cancer alone as we move into 2021.”
Beth Robinson, Senior Partner and Director at Templeton Robinson, continued, “Due to current restrictions sadly we could not host our annual Christmas Coffee morning. We came to work in our best Christmas attire on Friday 18th December and raised over £130 to support the Cancer Fund for Children. We look forward to continuing our support in 2021.”
