Not many people know this but St. George’s Market has a mascot called Wemick. The years have taken it’s toll and Wemick has gotten old and has lost some hair and colour due to years of living in the market. His friends at the market traders committee decided he needed a well-deserved ‘man-makeover’. Local visual artist Helen Sharkey was then commissioned to bring Wemick back from the brink and reveal his inner beauty. The following is a photo diary of Wemick make over. No Botox was used.
Next came a light 180 grade facial sanding
Next came eyebrows, a hair transplant and some eyes!!
Wemick is now back home at the market and is looking around to see if anyone recognises him with his new makeover and designer stubble!!
