REVIEW: SHED BISTRO – ORMEAU ROAD BELFAST

We have ordered a number of takeaway cook at home Sunday roasts during lockdown – but this was my first visit to the newly refurbished premises of @shedbelfast

The decor is beautiful, homely and spacious without losing the intimate bistro atmosphere. Walls were decorated with staff photos and local food suppliers is a lovely touch.

Our dining experience at Shed was fantastic as always with the owners Christina and Jonny friendly welcome. We were sat at the generously sized window booths overlooking Ormeau Road.

The high quality produce at Shed is reflected through the presentation of their dishes and pride of using local suppliers.

The portions were hearty and tasty- Salt and chili squid salad. Was so flipping good. No regrets.

The Trio of pork was incredible! The size of that pork belly… Wow!!

And the perfect steaks from Peter Hannan – “the Archbishop of Beef.”

This restaurant is a gem on the Ormeau Rd. Amazing food matched by fantastic service! Shed is consistently excellent and the staff so attentive and friendly.

Treat yourself and support our local restaurants! 🧑🏻‍🍳🍽
