RECYCLE YOUR STYLE AT CASTLECOURT WITH A GREEN MAKEOVER
Belfast’s flagship shopping centre is offering dedicated followers of fashion the chance to get the latest tips and tricks on how to update their wardrobe with some clever recycling.
As part of National Recycling Week, CastleCourt will host a series of Recycle Your Style workshops this Saturday 22nd June from 11-5pm. The fashionably green event will showcase the best style secrets from the centre’s Personal Shoppers at stores including Debenhams, GAP and Dorothy Perkins.
With regular shows taking place on the mall outside Debenhams, shoppers can learn how to update their wardrobe without buying an entirely new outfit, as well as tricks on how to transition their look from day to night with the addition of this season’s must-have accessories.
It’s not all about the clothes. Discerning fashionistas will also get hair and beauty inspiration from CastleCourt’s experts at Trade Secrets and Debenham’s beauty hall, who will give advice on how to create the hottest summer looks, from beach waves to bronzed glowing skin.
Binder Tahoni from CastleCourt said “As new seasons come and go, shoppers often think they have to give their wardrobe a complete overhaul with tons of new outfits. What they don’t realise is that with a strong set of style essentials, such as great-fitting jeans, a plain t-shirt, a little black dress and simple separates, they can update their look with just a few on-trend accessories and seasonal additions.
“This event is all about encouraging people to make the most of what they’ve already got in their wardrobe and showing them how to make it work with the right styling and great hair and make-up. Our personal shoppers will demonstrate just how to do this with live models and fun and interactive make-overs.”
The event is part of CastleCourt’s on-going environmental programme which includes a Big Battery Weigh-in with local schools and a series of special Recycling Week initiatives with Belfast City Council which will host retailer workshops with CastleCourt’s store managers as well as a fun and interactive recycling game for kids and families on the mall.
