Local business transforms Belfast club scene
The new contract included the purchase and installation of the entire sound system in the two story, luxury club which is set to transform Northern Ireland nightlife.
The deal, which is one of the largest investments in a sound and lighting system in a Northern Ireland nightclub, included the DJ equipment, CD system, decks, mixer, speakers and amplifiers as well as a state-of-the-art lighting system with bespoke computerised software which will allow touch-button control.
Chinawhite is the famous stomping ground for the rich and famous in London and Dubai. Local nightclub director Paul Langsford is excited about the new project, he said: “We are delighted to be finally opening Chinawhite, a high end, luxurious and comfortable venue – which will be like no other Belfast nightclub experience.”
“There has been a huge amount of time, money and research put into Chinawhite, as we wanted to ensure we got the offering just right.
“Everything about this club is state-of-the-art, which is why it was so important to get a sound and lighting system to match that.
“We have worked with the Electronic Centre and our other clubs and bars, including Milk, El Divino, the Albany and Filthy’s for over 15 years– and their level of service, product offering and value-for-money has always been second-to-none.
Paul concluded, “As a business it is important to us we use local suppliers where possible, and to keep investing the money back into the Northern Ireland economy. The Electronic Centre is an excellent example of a well run, local business which Northern Ireland should be proud of and support.”
The Electronic Centre was founded in 1970, and has been selling everything from fuses and plugs, to cables and cameras, as well as DJ equipment and laptops to both trade and the public from their Belfast shop. The repairs department has also offered a bespoke service throughout the company’s 44 year history.
Director of the Electronic Centre, John Stevenson, said the business is proud to work with the hottest new club in town. He said: “The team behind Chinawhite are outstanding and The Electronic Centre has been proud to work with them for over 15 years.
“Throughout those years, we have supplied a wide range of sound and lighting equipment which have performed a key role in the nightclub scene in Belfast.
“For this particular contract, we were are asked to demonstrate and price our equipment as competitively as possible, which with our buying power, we were able to do. We also provided a full installation of the entire system and will carry out any necessary on-going maintenance.
“I am delighted to say that Chinawhite are extremely happy with the end result and we look forward to clubbers enjoying many nights out in this world class venue.”
