Northern Ireland Hospice have announced a new partnership with the largest local property website in Northern Ireland, PropertyPal, as they become the headline sponsor for their annual Big Coffee Break event.
The Covid-19 virus has seen the demand for Hospice services rise, especially as many people want to remain at home surrounded by loved ones. Specialist Community Hospice Nurses across Northern Ireland have been caring for patients and their families, providing palliative care during their most difficult times. The Big Coffee Break is one of the largest fundraising events for Hospice and provides much needed funds to allow the specialist care of babies, children and adults when they need it most.
Now in its 29th year Northern Ireland Hospice’s Big Coffee Break encourages families, friends and local businesses to take a break to enjoy a cuppa with their loved ones, all whilst raising vital funds.
Regan McFarland, Events and PR Manager at PropertyPal said; “As the leading Property Portal in the country, we showcase thousands of beautiful homes that are for sale and available to rent, all across Northern Ireland.
We recognise the importance of a home. It’s somewhere where families grow old together, create special memories, and in many homes, where family members or loved ones receive palliative care.
When we heard about Northern Ireland Hospice’s ‘Big Coffee Break’ we knew it was something PropertyPal wanted to get involved with, to support a much-loved charity that almost everyone has been touched by. The work they do is invaluable to the people of Northern Ireland – and we would encourage all of our supporters to sign up, pop the kettle on and host their ‘Big Coffee Break’ in support of Hospice.
The Northern Ireland Hospice ‘Big Coffee Break’ campaign runs from 30th August – 3rd October 2021. Individuals who sign up will receive their free fundraising pack which includes recipes for their event, bunting, coasters and even a bag of delicious Hospice Blend Coffee. The charity is simply asking that hosts ask for a small donation for every cup poured, to help them continue to always be there for their patients and support their families.
