The annual Oasis Travel Northern Ireland Cruise Fair is back in port for 2016, bigger and better than ever before, celebrating all that’s new and exciting in the world of cruising with two days of maritime magic.
Set in the fabulously iconic setting of Titanic Belfast, the 2016 celebration of cruising has been extended this year to run over two days. Whether you’re an old hand on deck or a cruising newbie, this is the perfect opportunity to find out which vacation, location and cruise line is best suited to float your boat!
On Friday 16 September (from 2pm – 8pm) and Saturday 17 September(from 9.30am – 4.30pm) the Oasis Travel in-house experts will be joined by representatives of some of the biggest and most prestigious specialist cruise companies in the world, all ready to showcase their expertise – and some temptingly special offers.
From fascinating formal presentations to tantalising tastes of life on the ocean wave, the Cruise Fair experience will showcase amazing voyages of discovery right around the world. Live music and entertainment will give show-goers a feel for the on-board hospitality which is synonymous with cruising … and, on Saturday, there’s even some family fun to keep the kids amused while mum, dad and the grandparents check out the cruise news.
Entertainment will include the Fifty Shades Salon showing off holiday hairstyles on Friday, as well as live music and family fun throughout the Fair. Visitors are urged to make the most of the Cruise Fair visit by checking out a full schedule of presentations in advance at www.oasis-travel.co.uk: where you can also skip the on-the-day rush by reserving seats.
Oasis Travel Managing Direct Sandra Corkin says, “Cruising is truly on the crest of a wave just now. There’s never been a better choice of ships, destinations or cruising styles. From themed family vacations on board floating adventure ‘islands’ to adult luxury afloat on far-off oceans; from leisurely exploration of European rivers and waterways to voyages of discovery to some of the world’s most exciting destinations. We have it all at the Oasis Travel Northern Ireland Cruise Fair and we’re ready to roll out the red carpet for what we expect will be a record number of visitors. Our ambition is to provide an early taste of the cruising experience and to whet visitors’ appetites for a style of holiday that continues to grow in popularity.”
Visitors could even win a fabulous seven night Royal Caribbean cruise thanks to a charity raffle in aid of local charity Cavan’s First Steps at Tree of Hope. Raffle ticket sales will contribute to getting cerebral Palsy sufferer toddler Cavan O’Neill to America to receive pioneering surgery, to help him take his first steps.
