Recorded at the band’s studio in Nashville, Tennessee, the album topped the Irish charts as well as hitting the #1 spot in the UK and debuting at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 Chart. The Marlay Park show will be the first time that Kings of Leon have played in the Republic of Ireland since their sold out show at the historic Slane Castle in 2011.
Kodaline’s debut album ‘In A Perfect World’ was the biggest selling Irish album of 2013 and spent nine weeks at #1 while also enjoying 30 weeks in the Top Ten. The record has been nominated for the Meteor Choice Music Prize while their single Brand New Day is shortlisted for Irish Song of the Year.
