A new Belfast nightclub is set to open this weekend following an investment of £750,000, creating over 90 full and part time jobs, it was announced today.
Villa, which bills itself as a luxury nightclub, will open on the site of Belfast’s former club venue, Mynt, which closed in 2013. The site has undergone extensive refurbishment and now spans three floors with an impressive 18 VIP booths, as well as an exclusive ‘Trophy Room’.
Villa will open five nights each week and play host to three student nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, while at weekends it will open as an exclusive club spot for over 21s.

Speaking about the launch of Villa, Marketing Manager, Paulo Reyes, said:
“Villa will be a welcome addition to Belfast’s already thriving Cathedral Quarter area which attracts thousands of people every weekend and has built a strong week night scene for students, tourists and those looking for mid-week entertainment.
“The venue has seen a significant financial investment and the team has spent months ensuring Villa’s offering is high-end, unique and exactly what our customers are looking for. The design and layout is cool and quirky with and industrial and minimalist interior whilst maintaining a luxury feel and we’re really looking forward to opening the doors this weekend.”

This is not a luxury, high-end club. It’s just another watering hole for the Made In Chelsea wannabes, employing the cheapest DJs they can find, and occasionally forking out for some d-list celebrity to stand around doing sweet f.a. Labelling a room (or a booth) as ‘VIP’ does nothing but fool fake tan-clad bimbos to pay extortionate amounts of money in the hope that a reporter from Heat Magazine is there with a camera, and notices how little they’re wearing.
