Mix it up at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Bar-School (@FitzwilliamBel)

fitzwilliam cocktails
The Fitzwilliam Hotel ‘Bar-School’ – a cocktail making masterclass designed to educate even the most seasoned party goers.

Led by the Fitzwilliam Hotel’s in house mixologist Gregory, guests learnt everything from the ‘free pour technique’ to ‘flair artistry’ and the ‘art of bartending’ by creating a selection of the world’s most popular cocktails from scratch. Gregory Szum had such a passion and knowledge regarding cocktails and I was impressed with hearing the history behind each invention.

Ideal for that perfect night out, team building events, pre-wedding events and corporate entertaining. You will learn the methods of Cocktail preparation, building a drink, stirring, shaking, layering, muddling, straining, smashing… oh and drinking. (The best part)

Check out the cocktail menu

Irish Smoking Sour: Lockes 8yr Irish Whisky, Fresh Lemon Juice, Gomme Syrup, Fresh Egg White, Home-Made Orgeat Syrup, Aromatic Bitters

French Martini: Smirnoff Vodka, Chambord, Fresh Lime Juice, Gomme Syrup, Fresh Pineapple Juice, Fresh Raspberries..

White Lady: Plymouth Gin, Cointreau, Fresh Lemon Juice, Fresh Egg White, Dash of Absinthe (Favourite Drink of Laurel and Hardy)

Following the demonstration, we enjoyed some delicious canapés prepared by Head Chef, Michael Dargan.
