Making Belfast Move Better

Belfast Chamber of Trade & Commerce has published a new policy paper entitled ‘Making Belfast Move Better’ which sets out our blueprint for a more vibrant, accessible and sustainable city.

Improving connectivity and accessibility and enhancing how people move around our city is key to achieving our ambitions for Belfast.

Their proposals include a step change in public transportation, a more pedestrian friendly city, investment in major road infrastructure projects such as the York Street Interchange and a high speed connection to Dublin, the ‘boulevarding’ of major roads around Belfast city centre, improved cycling infrastructure, the creation of more green and open space; and stimulating more city living as a sustainable way to grow the city
