Hi everyone. I am absolutely delighted to have been accepted to volunteer at the Champions League Final in Cardiff next month, and was hoping someone may be able to help me.

A little bit of background on myself; I am 24 years old and from Lurgan. I graduated in 2015 with a degree in Events Management and I am a keen event volunteer having worked at events such as the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, 2014 Super Bowl in New Jersey and Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Tournament in Florida. I currently work in a call centre and also spend many hours every week updating my skills as a freelance writer, most recently being personally invited by Arianna Huffington to post on her Thrive Global site.

I have just recently found out that I have been selected to volunteer at another dream event of mine, the 2017 Champions League Final in Cardiff.

I was hoping to strike up a partnership potentially with a local business who may be interested in some promotion on my blog site in return for assistance in getting to and from Cardiff, and helping me out with some form of accommodation, whether that be a sofa, hostel or anywhere I can rest my head.

I’m planning on being in Cardiff from the 1st – 5th June. I have (potentially) secured accommodation with a friend for this time period except for the day of the final. The prices for flights and accommodation are through the roof due to the popularity of the event.

In return for any assistance, I would love to be able to provide advertising on my blog site, a site which has attracted thousands of readers in the last few months.

Please do get in touch if you are able to help – or if you know anyone who would be able to get involved, please invite them to initiate a conversation.

It would be massively appreciated, and an arrangement may have the potential to benefit you just as much as me.

Many thanks,

Mairead
