The Kraken® Black Spiced Rum will cast serious shade on bars this July as the Kraken Crawl creeps in to Dublin and Belfast. The Kraken Crawl takes place in 10 venues across Dublin and Belfast from Thursday, 19th to Thursday, 26th July offering up dark and terrifyingly tempting cocktails.
Fans can join the Kraken Crawl by following @KrakenRumIRL on social media and crack the code to win treasures at each of the 10 locations using Kraken’s very own mysterious map to determine their dark destiny.
The Kraken Black Spiced Rum is an imported rum from the Caribbean blended with secret spices. Named after the sea beast of myth and legend, the spirit is bold, rich, black and smooth. The rum’s distinct rich black colour reflects the mysterious ink with which the Kraken is said to have covered its prey.
The Kraken Rum has created a range of devilishly dark summer cocktails which throw serious shade on old cocktail standards. The line-up has been developed with the hottest cocktail trends in mind, using ingredients such as avocado, black tea and cider.
Give into sweet temptation and try these cocktails at home or dip your toes into tumultuous waters by joining the Kraken Crawl for some of the beast’s favourite serves in Dublin or Belfast. Either way, these turbulent cocktails have been designed to shake up your summer.
The Kraken Crawl includes some of Ireland’s best bars for Crawlers to experience some of the Kraken’s frightening favourites.
In Dublin, follow the Kraken’s trail to some of it’s favourite haunts Ukiyo and Anseo then creep to JT Pims and Chelsea Drug Store before being lured to the final destination, Mulligan and Haines.
In Belfast, start your crawl at the Thirsty Goat before delving into the Bootleggers. All is fair in Love and Death before creeping into 39 Gordon Street and finishing up at the daring bar D.I.V.E. Belfast.
To not respect the power of the Kraken is to not respect the sea. So drink with respect.
