~ Forest Feast launches its sponsorship of the AquaSprint Junior Swimming League with help from Paralympian, Bethany Firth ~
Forest Feast, the multi-award winning premium fruit and nut snack company, and Swim Ulster today announced that Forest Feast will continue to sponsor the AquaSprint Junior Swimming League for the seventh consecutive year. The sponsorship agreement was launched by Team GB Paralympic swimmer, Bethany Firth.
The Forest Feast AquaSprint Junior Swimming League will see 1,500 young swimmers from 26 clubs across Ulster compete in a series of league fixtures in four divisions, culminating in the eagerly anticipated league finals in June 2017.
The four-time Paralympic gold medallist and 200m world record holder, Bethany Firth, joined young swimmers at the launch in Bangor Aurora Aquatic & Leisure Complex to encourage the young competitors as they look forward to an exciting season of racing.
Bethany commented, “It is great to know that the AquaSprint Junior Swimming is supported by an exciting company like Forest Feast. The support from Forest Feast benefits everyone involved in swimming in Northern Ireland as it allows young swimmers the chance to reach their full potential. Some of the junior swimmers of today will be the Olympians of tomorrow but every junior athlete will experience the positive benefits that competitive swimming can bring such as persistence and responsibility – all while making new friends and having fun at the same time! It’s exciting to see the wealth of talent on display today and I want to wish all the swimmers taking part in League the best of luck!”
