Christmas has come early, as Belfast’s Victoria Square kicks off its celebrations in style. With its iconic tree, twinkling lights and entertainers getting shoppers into the festive spirit a full week before the city’s official lights switch-on, the landmark shopping centre is inviting people to ‘Feel it Here First’.
Following its magical opening weekend festivities, there will be festive fun for all the family at Victoria Square every weekend in November and December, with pop-up musical performances from Peter Corry performersand more
Santa’s Grotto has returned to Victoria Square, offering magical Santa visits in the heart of the city. Taking up residence on level 2, the Grotto is open every weekend in November and daily in December (up until Christmas Eve). A range of packages are available starting from £8 per child. Mid-week and early morning visits are advised for shorter wait times, with queues expected at weekends.
Victoria Square’s Festive Brunches are also back by popular demand for 2022, offering brunch with Santa and his trusty elf in Frankie & Benny’s, followed by a festive family favourite movie in The Odeon. The VSQ Festive Brunches run on the first three Sundays in December (4, 11 & 18 December). Tickets cost £15 for adults and £8 for kids. Brunch is served at 10.30am, followed by the movie at 11.30am. Tickets are available to book at www.victoriasquare.com
With over 70 top international and local brands, cafes, restaurants and an Odeon cinema, Victoria Square has everything you’ll need under its twinkling dome this festive season. Plus, a special Christmas Fayre will take up residence on the mall from 26th November – 24th December offering a variety of local sweets and treats, as well as handcrafted candles, paintings and more.
