What messages are lurking in your secret inbox? who’s been trying to contact you on Facebook!
There could be a load of messages you haven’t received.
Usually the people you talk to on Facebook are usually “friends”, but from time to time a stranger will send you a message out of the blue.
Facebook has a “message request” feature, that sends you a notification if someone you are not friends with tries to contact you. But sometimes this is not always the case. Some of these messages could be useful, especially if you’re using your Facebook profile for professional purposes.
When we discovered the ‘Other’ folder on Facebook, it was a mixed reaction of feeling bad we’d accidentally ignored certain people, and feeling thankful we’d never seen some of the creepy messages sooner.
1. Click on your Messenger app and go to the Settings button at the top (or bottom, depending on whether you’re using Apple or Android).
2.Then go to “People”
3. Click on “Message requests”
4. From there, scroll to the bottom of the page where you’ll see a button “See filtered requests.”
Go ahead. Go for it. See what happens.
