Dream Apartments in Belfast have become the latest property in the city to get up to speed with Gigabit Broadband through B4B. Guests in Dream Apartments now have access to broadband speeds of 1000 Mbps, that’s 33 times faster than SuperFast broadband (SuperFast is defined as 30Mbps+).

All three of Dream Apartment’s buildings in Belfast are due to be connected over the next few months. The Obel building was the first to go live this week, with St. Thomas Hall being connected to the new network in the new year and their newest building Dream Pods in Bank Square will have Gigabit broadband available upon opening it’s doors in the Spring.

You can use an internet speed test to see how your broadband speed compares.

Gigabit broadband is fast becoming the new norm in the business world with many office blocks and business parks across Northern Ireland having it available through the B4B network but this will the first accommodation provider to offer this level of connectivity to their guests. For Dream Apartments this decision was easy as they continue to focus their business on corporate lets being able to offer this level of connectivity to their guests will help set them apart from the other accommodation providers in the city.

Partnering with B4B has allowed the corporate accommodation provider to actually save money on their monthly broadband bill while at the same time increasing their broadband speed by a factor of 50.

A Gigabit broadband connection is capable of streaming 200 films simultaneously in HD, or having over 800 Skype video calls at the same time.
