New to Belfast’s high street, footwear and clothing brand Dr. Martens is marking the end of a week-long celebration of local street style and music with an all-day shopping event next Saturday (27 September).
The store on Corn Market is playing host to a number of activities leading up to the event as part of its official launch, including in-store artwork by local artists, a VIP party and a spot for the city’s buskers to ‘busk for Belfast’ outside the store for Dr. Martens’ current #STANDFORSOMETHING campaign.
The in-store event will run from 12 noon – 5.00pm on 27 September and will see Jason Shankey male grooming offer a pop-up barber shop for members of the public. A Dr. Martens customisation bar will also be on hand to add bows, beads and trims to customers’ old or new Docs
Amy Nelson, Dr. Martens UK retail marketing manager, said: “Belfast is a vibrant city so we’re looking forward to making our mark here and meeting the brand’s customers – both lifelong fans and first-time wearers – in the store next Saturday.”
Dr. Martens store is situated at 26-28 Corn Market, Belfast.
