Tanya Carson, Action Cancer’s Health Promotion Officer said, “Females are asked to encourage the men in their lives to take stock of their health this November with a free MOT health check with Action Cancer. 12 men a day are diagnosed with cancer in N. Ireland, men are almost 40% more likely than women to die from the disease, and it is estimated over half of all cancers could be prevented with the right lifestyle choices.
